About Shawn

My name is Shawn Breen, I am 37 years old. I am married and have three kids. My wife and I have been together since we were 16 years old, we got married at 23 and had our first child at 26.

I am a multifaceted professional with a dynamic range of abilities and experience. My excellent communication and interpersonal skills serve as a foundation to effectively communicate and provide excellent customer service. I started working when I was 16 at a military turn key manufacturing company part time doing inventory. When I graduated high school I was asked to work full time and promoted to the warehouse manager in charge of inventory control, shipping and receiving. I was in charge of a team of 5 employees whom I worked hand in hand with to all items be counted  kits be made for manufacturing and items be packaged and shipped according to military specification. I started working for my brother whom is a licensed electrician when I realized learning a trade is very important as it is something that my change slightly I would never lose the skill and education of the basic trade. I would always have something to fall back on. I now have over 12 years of residential electrical experience. I am a home owner who has always done most repairs and renovations on his own. I have an acute attention to detail.

I became a WIN Home Inspector in Long Island to help people purchasing a house whether buying for the first time, or the fifth time to make an educated, well informed decision using my attention to detail. I enjoy interacting with different people everyday and explaining to them what I see at their potential new home. One of the things take make home inspection amazing is you always get to interact with different people in homes of different shapes sizes and age. There is no house or structure that is the same, even if it's built by the same builder on the same block in the same year.
